About Dragdox
Dragdox is desktop software for signing PDF documents with your own digital signature certificate, from a USB DSC token or a PFX file, on Windows 10 / 11, Ubuntu and Debian.
Who makes Dragdox
Dragdox is built and published by BigHero, an independent software developer based in India (E-232, New Ashok Nagar, Delhi 110096). The Windows installer is code-signed with BigHero’s own certificate, which is why Windows names BigHero as the publisher.
What Dragdox does
- Signs PDFs on your own computer. Your documents are not uploaded anywhere.
- Works with PFX / PKCS#12 files, USB tokens through their manufacturer’s PKCS#11 driver and, on Windows, the Windows certificate store.
- Writes standard PAdES signatures that Adobe Acrobat Reader and other PDF tools can verify, with a visible signature you design: text, an image and an optional Green Tick.
- Is free to use with a light watermark on every page. Premium removes the watermark and adds trusted timestamps and long-term validation.
How we work
- We publish what we have tested, with dates. See the tokens we have checked; anything not listed there has not been verified by us.
- Every release can be checked. Installers come with SHA-256 checksums and GPG signatures (Verify your download).
- Try before you buy. Test the free version with your own certificate or token first; Premium changes the output, not whether your certificate works.
- No advertising trackers. The website uses no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics (privacy information).
